Where to Celebrate 4th of July in Houston 2015

4th of July, is our country’s independence and time of celebration! What better way to celebrate this extraordinary holiday but by watching some fireworks, participating in games, and eating great food with friends and family? The wonderful city of Houston has many fun filled events and places to attend for a rocking good time! Here's our guide to all the firework fun!!!

*All events below occur on the holiday, July, 4th, 2015.

The Republic Smokehouse Saloon
Block Party start at 3 pm & Rooftop opens at 5 pm
General admission: $20 & VIP $80
Rooftop block party and the best view in town for the firework show by Freedom Over Texas. Activities and games such as a water balloon tournament, pie eating contest, live music and more!




Eleanor Tinsley Park
$8 per person; Under 5 free Grab your lawn chairs and blankets for this one-of-a-kind patriotic event, done with a style that is all Houston. The beautiful Houston skyline will set the backdrop for an awesome celebration at Mayor Annise Parker's official Fourth of July event, Freedom Over Texas. Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens

With performers, crafts, activities, refreshments, and much more, join the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston to celebrate Independence Day at Houston's home for American decorative arts and paintings. A reading of the Declaration of Independence begins at 3 p.m. which will be followed by a birthday cake honoring America’s Independence.

The July 4 weekend welcomes four nights of free concerts plus an Independence Day fireworks spectacular to CityCentre. Considered a fun filled weekend to celebrate culminating live music, fireworks, and fun!

Town Green Park and Waterway Square, Woodlands,TX

FREE
All evening event celebrating American Heroes, will have two locations along the Waterway. Enjoy your Independence Day at both Town Green Park and Waterway Square, each featuring a main stage and activities for all ages.

Pearland High School Football Stadium (3775 South Main, Pearland, TX)
6-10 pm
FREE
Join the city of Pearland in celebrating our country's independence! Stadium and field seating will be available beginning at 6 p.m. A VFW military salute will begin the evening's entertainment, followed by a performance of the National Anthem. Then sit back, relax and sing along to the sounds of the featured band, The Spinsations!

Pasadena Convention Center
4pm-10pm
FREE
Being Pasadena's largest city-sponsored event, 4th Fest provides fun activities for all ages throughout the evening. Before the 20-minute fireworks show at the end of the event, live music will be performed.

Katy Mills Mall
.9:30pm
FREE
The Katy Freedom Celebration fireworks display will be launched between the east side of the mall and Katy Fort Bend Road. This show begins at approximately 9:30pm and can be viewed from several miles around the mall area.

Kemah Boardwalk
All day with fireworks at 9:30 pm.
FREE.
Live music & patriotic fireworks show over Galveston Bay.

Buffalo Run Park
6pm-9pm
FREE
Starting at 6pm, free activities, such as moonwalks, a rock wall, mechanical bulls and pony rides will be available to entertain all ages until 9pm. Food will be available on site for purchase. First 600 kids will receive a free giveaway (must be 12 years old or under). Fireworks will begin shortly after the festivities!
