Bill Armstrong & Ryan Bush & Learning Curve 8 Opening Reception

HOUSTON CENTER FOR PHOTOGRAPHY opens three new exhibits this month

Bill Armstrong's Buddha & Mandala are two bodies of work that create a meditative space. These transcendent images delve into a different aspects of the spiritual and Buddist world.Their soft luminosity and pure glow of color communicate a space beyond the viewers' focus. Their essential purpose is to create a sense of radiance, and pure joy.

Ryan Bush's Visions are three-dimensional photographs that are about exploring the visionary experience. By using multiple exposures of tree branches and having a free range of imagination in photoshop Ryan's series goes into the depths of the physical world and the “subtle” world.

Learning Curve is annual exhibition of selected work made by HCP´s students from the past year that highlights the various educational programs HCP offers through its Learning Center.
