Aces Of Taste hosts monthly multi-course dinners and brunches featuring veteran and emerging chefs throughout Houston. After the final course, a local food enthusiast moderates a discussion with the chef and the audience is encouraged to participate.
This month's dinner featured Stephanie Hoban founder and owner of Ripe Cuisine, a food blog-come-food truck. Stephanie knows a thing or two about making healthy food, taste great.
After adopting a vegetarian diet on a whim in High School, she quickly became aware of what her diet change meant, and soon developed an interest in nutrition and cooking.
In less than a year, Hoban has built a passionate following by introducing farm-fresh ingredients & heart-healthy dishes to the food truck scene. As one of the earliest registered dietitians at Snap Kitchen, she has help influenced the demand for health conscious meals that maintain exquisite flavors. Though her personal interest and several iterations of the best menu items, she has become the full-time chef on the affectionately-named "Wanda" food truck. Aboard the whimsically designed Ripe Cuisine, this well-regarded chef is serving the highest quality ingredients sourced at Houston's blossoming farmers markets.
The pop-up dining experience is one of the fatest growing trends. Pop-up dinners are one-time food events that offer guests a taste of something different. Whether it’s an unexpected location, a personal interaction with the chef, or a unique menu or theme, these events cater to the “Experiential Diner”—who craves not just an amazing meal, but a new and exciting dining experience.
